My current series of mixed media artworks explores the intersection of movement expression, memory and healing, transforming canvas into living, breathing spaces of liberation.

2025

Vagalam

is a piece created with acrylic and gouache on recycled fabric, assembled in a collage. The composition features various elements, including four squares and four rectangular strips. Two of the squares showcase spiral flowers, while the other two are adorned with grid patterns. Two of the rectangular strips display creeping plants, and the remaining two strips have a blue background, with one inscribed with « PAZ Ciencia. » Surrounding the canvas, I have cut and glued undulating waves that serve as a decorative frame.

The Fhealing

The feeling of healing in movement, on undiscovered floors, listening to what the body has to say, with the heartbeat of the universe.
I have painted a large format canvas using acrylic and oil pastel on a cotton sheet, embodying the concept of dance floors as platforms for liberation—both corporeal and visual. This artwork bursts with vivid colors, expressive brushstrokes and stains that invite viewers to experience freedom.

Frisson

« Frisson » is a large canvas that is repurposed from a vintage tablecloth. A striking interplay of black and gold grids, painted in acrylic and oil pastel, which serve as a dynamic foundation for a dancing organism set upon a vibrant dance floor.
This artwork captures the sensations of being moved. It embodies a deep love for fleeting moments, evoking soul-stirring music, captivating dance, passionate words that ignite the mind, and the weight of unbearable injustice—reminding us of the powerful connection between art and activism.
